2026 Lake Valley Camp Specialty Staff
Specialized team members play critical roles at Lake Valley Camp to make sure the experience is the best that it can be! This could range anywhere from providing quality meals for the whole camp, making sure all equipment and cabins are clean and ready for campers, or ensuring all staff and participants have their health needs met. Keep an eye out for our program instructors as well. They provide unique skills that our campers will get to learn from over the summer, such as aquatics, garden, equestrian, and expeditions. A special thank you to these individuals for doing all of the behind the scenes work that makes Lake Valley Camp the beloved place that it is!
JULIE - Garden Culinary Instructor
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, learning about other cultures through their food, and hiking in the Sierra Nevada and Rocky Mountains. I am excited to meet everyone at camp and share my love of cooking with them.
Shirley - Garden Program Coordinator
I live on a small acreage about 20 miles NE of LVC. My favorite hobbies are cooking, hiking, traveling and gardening. This will be my second year at LVC and I can't wait to share our chickens and our LVC garden with each of you. You are always welcome to come and enjoy our garden.
KAREN - Garden & Barn Assistant
I'm from Richland Center, WI. My favorite animal is a pig. I enjoy baking and hiking state parks with my family. I work as an academic advisor when I'm not at camp. I'm excited for my first year at camp as I'm excited to share the joys of plants and animals with other people.

I’m from Puebla México, and I live in Puebla. I love all kinds of sports. I think working at Lake Valley Camp will be a great opportunity to learn and meet new people.

Hi everybody, I'm Brian and I'm from Veracruz, Mexico. I like to be an energetic and friendly person. I love doing different kinds of activities such as cooking, excercising, playing board games and meeting new people. I'd like to live this new experience and enjoy all that LVC has for us.
Moorea - Health Coordinator
I am from Chandler, AZ and I currently go to school at the University of Arizona. I love reading, volleyball, photography, hiking, and anything crafty. I am excited to spend my summer in the outdoors and to make sure everyone stays healthy!
Huda - Health Assistant
Hi everyone! I am from Oak Creek, Wisconsin. I love writing, music, and traveling. Visiting Australia is at the top of my bucket list… but so is avoiding spiders, so we’ll see how that goes. This is my first year at LVC and I am very excited to meet everybody.

Hello, my name is Amera and I am from Oak Creek, WI. I love reading and playing Roblox. I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This will be my first year at LVC and I can’t wait to see what this summer will bring!

I am from Wisconsin and currently live in a very small town called Millville. I have gone to school for Equine Science/Management, and use what I've learned to train, ride, and show horses. I am very excited to be able to bring my knowledge to the camp and help further or start someone's passion for horses.
Eva - Expeditions Instructor
I live in the Netherlands. I love to be outside and do fun things with friends. I’m excited because this is a great opportunity and this is my first time out of Europe. It is my first time at a summer camp in America.
Chantel - Office Coordinator
I'm from the Platteville, WI area. I am an art teacher, and love opportunties to be creative! I also love going on hikes with my dog, Goose. When I'm not outside, or painting, I love reading a good book, baking, or just spending time with loved ones. I'm very excited to enjoy the outdoors this summer and meeting all the new faces! This will be my first summer at LVC, and I'm looking forward to this new adventure.
Jonathan - Cook
My name is Jonathan and I live just north of camp in Gays Mills, WI. I live in a wonderful eco-village type setting where our community works together to homestead on the land here. I am looking forward to all the wonderful people I get to meet and work with at camp and the honor of getting to keep everyone well fed! This will be my third year in the LVC kitchen.

I’m very excited to be returning to LVC for my third summer as consulting. I’m looking forward to working with the health team and getting to know the staff as well. Let’s have a safe and healthy camp season!
Eden - Equestrian Instructor
I am from Rural Hall, North Carolina. A fun fact about me is that I play soccer and lacrosse at my college. I also love to swim and do water sports! I am most excited to have fun with the campers and horses all while getting a good tan!

This is my fourth year as a member of the kitchen staff, and I'm looking forward to being back with all the great LVC staff and meeting the new campers. I've lived in NE Iowa and SW Wisconsin most of my life, and it's great that others get to experience this beautiful part of the country. In my spare time I like to kayak, garden and - shocker - cook!
