Leaders In Training Program
WHAT IS IT?
The Leaders in Training (LT) program is a progressive year long program with opportunities for summer camp internships. As an LT scholar you commit to year round leadership enrichment programs.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Current 9th and 10th graders are invited to sign up for our Leaders in Training program.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
To become a Leader in Training (LT), prospective freshmen and sophomores must attend Step Up, Stand Out (SUSO). SUSO is an interactive event where prospective LTs learn about the leadership program and the commitment and extended leadership programs that PEAK offer. SUSO happens once per school year during January only.
The application window for SUSO will be open from December 1, 2025 – January 5, 2026.
Participation in fall programs is strongly encouraged and will be used during SUSO decision-making. Youth who participate in our fall high school programs (YLS, Community Service, Leadership Labs, etc) will be able to count that time toward program requirements if they are accepted into the LT program.
Any 9th graders who are not accepted into the program are encouraged to apply again as 10th graders. Any programs they have attended as 9th graders will be counted if they are accepted as 10th graders.
