2025 Lake Valley Camp Counselors & Coordinators
Our Camp Counselors are the foundation of Lake Valley Camp. These talented staff will be working the closest with our campers by taking responsibility of one of our many cabins. They will be fully immersed with their small group of participants, helping them stay on schedule and be safe while residing in their cabins with them. Our counselors do much more than that though! You can often find Camp Counselors jumping into programming or leading choice time activities with their campers and participating with them throughout the day. These individuals not only keep Lake Valley Camp moving, they work to ensure the health and happiness of their campers to make sure they are getting the most out of their Lake Valley Camp experience.
Alex - Voyager Boys Coordinator
I'm Alex and this is my 2nd summer at LVC as the Voyager Boys Village Coordinator. I'm from Indiana and work in an analytics role for an NCAA basketball team. You can find me playing piano, watching basketball from all over the globe, and coming up with new Disney movie ideas. I'm excited to be back at camp to leave an impact on the lives of others and admire the brand new milk cooler.
Sierra - Voyager Girls Coordinator
Hey y’all! My name is Sierra Meeks. I’m originally from Waterloo, Iowa, but I currently attend the University of Arizona, where I’m finishing up my sophomore year. I’m pursuing a degree in Environmental Policy and Global Studies. A fun fact about me: I have a minor in Korean and have been to four K-pop concerts! In my free time, if I’m not hanging out with friends or family, I love watching movies and diving into conspiracy theory videos. I’m committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers, and I can’t wait to meet new people and make a positive impact through fun, engaging activities!
Xime - Pioneer Girls Coordinator
I’m from Colombia, a country full of amazing food, beautiful places, and the happiest people. I love sharing my culture and, of course, making delicious arepas! This will be my second summer at LVC, and I’m honored to be back as the Pioneer Girls Village Coordinator! Last year was an experience I’ll never forget, and I knew I had to return. Can’t wait to see you all soon and make this summer unforgettable!
Tae - Pioneer Boys Coordinator
I am born and raised from Milwaukee Wisconsin, and still live here at the moment. Some of my hobbies include reading, song/poetry writing, traveling, and taking pictures. One thing I'm very excited about this summer is most definitely the carnival and the theme days, but mostly just spending time with the staff this year. I have been both a participant and staff with the camp. This will be my 15th/16th year with LVC and fifth year as a staff member.
Kenna - Camp Life Coordinator
Hi my name is Kenna! I'm originally from Fennimore, WI, which is near LVC! I love staying active whether it's playing IM volleyball, teaching swimming lessons, or spending time with my five younger siblings. This will be my third year at Lake Valley Camp and I'm so excited to get to connect with both the campers and staff to make LVC such a fun place to be this summer!
sequan - Program Coordinator
Hi my name is SeQuan some of you may know me as the Performing Arts Counselor last year! I am from Fort Mill, South Carolina. Some things about me - I love to dance, read, and cook pretty much anything that involves me jamming to music while I do it. Also I am known to have a costume on stand by for.....just about anything! I am super excited for our events ranging from theme day all the way to carnival. CAN'T WAIIIIITTT!!!!!
Taters - Expeditions Coordinator
Hello, I am known as Taters at camp. I can't wait to be back at camp for my second summer! I currently live in King, NC, but am I am from Wausau, WI. When I am not working at a camp, I enjoy playing videogames, hiking/backpacking and trying new things. I'm super excited to see all the returning faces and meeting the new ones.
Lupe - camper support coordinator
My name is Lupe and I will be one of the Camper Support Coordinators out at camp this summer!! I am from Milwaukee, but currently live in Madison. I am a Junior currently attending UW-Madison pursuing a double major in Psych and Social Work. I love to travel, read, and always enjoy a good sunset by the lake. This is my 5th year on staff and 14th year being a part of LVC, so I am very excited to get back out to our beautiful camp and make more amazing memories <3
Lydia - camper support coordinator
I live in Madison, Wisconsin and am a student at UW-Madison. On top of being a student I love to read, paint, and practice and teach yoga! This will be my second summer at LVC and I am excited to learn from the campers this summer and to help foster meaningful experiences for both campers and staff.
Christian - Camper Support Coordinator
I’m from Huila, Colombia, a region rich in traditions, stunning landscapes, and hardworking people. Passionate about extreme sports, music, teaching, and photography, I thrive on learning, growing, and connecting with others. This will be my first summer at LVC, and I’m honored to be part of this experience. Michael - Camper Support Coordinator
Hey PEAK! I'm Michael, and it's an honor to return as a PEAK/LVC team member after 6 years of exploring the beautiful world. I'm excited to join the summer team as I've felt a calling to give back to my community in the way I best can, outdoor recreation and education! I enjoy soaking in nature whether that be hiking trails, journaling at the beach, or cycling through the city blasting Chicago house music. My hope is to inspire the young leaders of LVC to explore their inner potential through seeing, knowing, and experiencing the outdoors.
NaNa - LT Girls Counselor
Hello world, my name is Cinaa aka NaNa. Some fun facts about me are that I used to attend LVC from Restin to the LT program. Also I love creating poems, doing arts & crafts and practicing yoga. I'm very excited to meet and get to know the newcoming and returning campers this summer.
Eddie - Nature Program Coordinator
Milwaukee has been my home for my entire life with Lake Valley Camp serving as my second home for the summer for many years as a kid. In my free time I enjoy birdwatching, biking, & drawing. As a former camper I'm really excited to be back at camp to give campers the same love & appreciation for nature I gained from my time at camp.
Nick - Team Sports Program Counselor
Hi, I'm Nick. I'm from Montfort, WI and I currently attend UW-Platteville for science education. I like hiking, birding, and playing sports like frisbee and basketball. This will be my second year at camp and I'm excited to meet new people and see old faces from last year.
David - Boating Program Counselor
Hii! :D I'm David, your Mexican boating counselor. I enjoy good stories from books, movies, videogames, etc; but I also love to live my own adventures! I'm pretty excited to be back at LVC, so lets see what this summer has planned for us.

Hi, my name is Vania, I'm from Mexico. I enjoy painting, playing basketball, reading and cooking. This will be my second year at LVC, this time as a visual arts program counselor. I'm so excited for the summer, can't wait to meet all of the campers and staff.
Laila - Aquatics Program Counselor
Hi! My name is Laila Christian! I am from Shaker Heights, Ohio (a suburb just outside of Cleveland) and this is my first summer with LVC as an Aquatics Counselor! I am currently pursuing my BFA in Musical Theatre at Ohio University, and I love any and all forms of storytelling (singing, writing, music, cheesy YA novels). I never got to go to summer camp as a kid, so I'm so excited to spend time in nature and around water! :)

I am born, raised and live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I enjoy nature and sports and I love to travel. I am excited to be a counselor and give kids the same experience and fun I had as a camper.

I’m originally from North Georgia but now call Tampa, Florida home. I’m a college student at Valdosta State University majoring in Criminal Justice. My hobbies are spending time with my family and friends, kayaking, going to the movies, and learning new things. This summer, I’m excited about meeting new people and having a fun time at camp. I’m looking forward to experiencing LVC for the first time.
