2026 Lake Valley Camp Counselors & Coordinators
Our Camp Counselors are the foundation of Lake Valley Camp. These talented staff will be working the closest with our campers by taking responsibility of one of our many cabins. They will be fully immersed with their small group of participants, helping them stay on schedule and be safe while residing in their cabins with them. Our counselors do much more than that though! You can often find Camp Counselors jumping into programming or leading choice time activities with their campers and participating with them throughout the day. These individuals not only keep Lake Valley Camp moving, they work to ensure the health and happiness of their campers to make sure they are getting the most out of their Lake Valley Camp experience.
Xime - Pioneer Girls Coordinator
Hey! My name is Xime, and I'm from Colombia. This will be my 3rd summer at LVC, a place that truly feels like home to me 🏕️. This summer I’m excited to serve as the Pioneer Girls Village Coordinator, build meaningful friendships, share lots of camp laughs and campfire songs, and help create a fun and encouraging space where every camper can grow and be themselves. Outside of camp, I enjoy traveling, dancing, listening to music and podcasts, and learning new things, while always counting down the days until camp again 💖.
Tae - Pioneer Boys Coordinator
I am born and raised from Milwaukee Wisconsin, and still live here at the moment. Some of my hobbies include reading, song/poetry writing, traveling, and taking pictures. One thing I'm very excited about this summer is most definitely the carnival and the theme days, but mostly just spending time with the staff this year. I have been both a participant and staff with the camp. This will be my 15th/16th year with LVC and fifth year as a staff member.
sequan - Program Coordinator
This will be my third summer at LVC!! I am so excited to meet the staff and hangout with some familiar faces. I have a tendency to cook, dance, read, and watch a LOT of TV. Coming all the way from the South I am so excited to get to know people and their cultures and stories!!!
Alex - Voyager Boys Coordinator
I'm Alex and this is my 2nd summer at LVC as the Voyager Boys Village Coordinator. I'm from Indiana and work in an analytics role for an NCAA basketball team. You can find me playing piano, watching basketball from all over the globe, and coming up with new Disney movie ideas. I'm excited to be back at camp to leave an impact on the lives of others and admire the brand new milk cooler.
Joshua - Teambuilding Program Counselor
I’m from Louisvile, Kentucky. And I live in Saint Louis, Missouri. My hobbies include going to the gym, swimming, and surfing (when I'm at the beach!) I'm excited to explore the camp, and get to know all of the campers!
Nick - Team Sports Program Counselor
Hi, I'm Nick. I'm from Montfort, WI. In my free time I like to read, play sports, be outside, and birdwatch. I'm excited to meet new campers and counselors this year, as well as catching up with old friends. This will be my third summer at camp as the Team Sports Counselor.
David- Boating Program Counselor

andrea - COUNSELOR
Hi! My name is Andrea from Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. I enjoy creative activities like nail art, and I love meeting people from different cultures. I’m excited for camp because I enjoy helping campers have fun and grow, and I previously worked as a camp counselor. Thanks for reading and see you at camp!
jay - Counselor
I’m from the Red River Gorge in Eastern Kentucky. I love traveling and rock climbing. If you can’t find me I’m in the woods or in New York watching a show on or off broadway. I’ve been to 37 states and lived in 3 of them. I’m a master friendship bracelet maker. I’m excited for camp this year getting to see a new state and make more amazing camp memories!
Merve - Counselor
Hi, I'm Merve. I'm from Istanbul, Turkey and I live in Istanbul. I'm an engineering student. In my free time, I enjoy reading books, watching movies and exploring new places with my friends. This will be my second year at LVC, and I'm so happy to be back. I'm excited to meet new people and take part in the fun activities at camp. I can't wait to make lots of new memories with all of you this summer. I hope we have a super fun summer, full of great moments!
Makaya - Aquatics Coordinator
I am from Racine, Wisconsin (just below Milwaukee), but I go to University in New York City. This will be my second summer with LVC, and I'm over the moon to come back! One of my favorite hobbies is crocheting, so I hope to bring that to campers again this summer! This upcoming summer, I cannot wait to open to pool and continue to make the water a fun and safe place for campers to build their confidence in water safety skills.
