2025 Annual Report: The Space Between Mistakes and Growth
The Camper Support team extends care beyond the summer, creating space for young people to reflect, reset, and grow.
Through one-on-one conversations and behavior support plans, the team helps youth make sense of their experiences, turning challenges into teachable moments. Together, they ask: What choices do you want to be proud of? What support do you need to get there? As Jiselle shares, “It’s about cultivating presence and helping young people make decisions they can stand behind.”
This work is rooted in support, not punishment. Behavior plans are designed to guide and empower, giving young people the tools to navigate challenges, regulate emotions, and respond differently in the future. “We are committed to your growth as a person and as a leader,” Jiselle says. “You have the power to change your world and we’re here to help you see that.”
At its core, Camper Support is about relationships. The team shows up for young people in their hardest moments and just as importantly, follows up to help them move forward. Over time, that consistency builds trust. Youth know that if they’re struggling, there is always someone there to listen, guide, and support.
With more capacity, the team can support more participants whether it’s helping a camper navigate conflict, offering guidance during emotional moments, or simply being a steady, trusted presence.
With Jiselle’s guidance, campers are able to reflect, take ownership, and come back ready to lead. Throughout the year, they’ll show up as a different person and what started as a difficult moment becomes a turning point.
