Tiefenthaler Turns Up! The PEAK Block Party Returns!

Milwaukee community invited to enjoy free food, music, family fun, and more

MILWAUKEE, WI — July 3, 2025 — Kellogg PEAK Initiative (PEAK) proudly announces the return of its 5th Annual Block Party, a vibrant community celebration taking place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Tiefenthaler Park in Milwaukee’s Midtown neighborhood.

This free, family-friendly event brings together neighbors, local artists, youth performers, small businesses, and resource providers for an afternoon packed with fun, connection, and community pride.

“Join us for the 5th Annual Block Party as we bring back the village—celebrating unity with our community partners, neighbors, friends, and families. Enjoy free food, resources, games, and fun for all ages in a safe and welcoming space," said Mariah Johnson, Teens and Community Manager. "Let’s come together to uplift, connect, and build a stronger community—because it takes a village. I do this because I grew up in a village so let’s bring back the 90s and not just the fashion!”

Highlights include:

  • Live music and DJ sets featuring DJ LALA

  • Youth breakdancing and cyphers by Your Move MKE

  • Free food and ice cream, including Brat with a Cop and the MPD Ice Cream Truck

  • Bounce houses, face painting, arts & crafts

  • Karaoke & Open Mic, Lightning Basketball Tournament

  • Games and contests

  • Resource and info tables from Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee Fire Department, Vision Zero, Bike Fed, and more!

  • Local food trucks will be on site offering delicious bites for purchase. 

  • PEAK Market will spotlight Milwaukee makers, artists, and community organizations.
